Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene (CSM): Hypalon® Replacement for Demanding Applications
Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene (CSM) is a high-performance halogenated synthetic rubber originally developed by DuPont and commercialized as Hypalon®. Known for its durability, weather resistance, and chemical stability, Hypalon® was widely used across automotive, marine, military, and construction industries.
In 2010, DuPont officially discontinued Hypalon® production due to environmental concerns and corporate restructuring. To fill the global supply gap, YQXPOLYMER developed its own CSM line—offering full-grade replacements with enhanced formulation stability and global technical support.
